Translate the theme file .po .mo

I translated the .mo and .po file of the theme, I loaded them in the directory themes / betheme / languages /

file: it_IT.po it_IT.mo (for Italian language), but the translations are not displayed why? what else should I do?

Did you set this language under wp-config.php file? It is neessary to let the wordpress know what language you want to use. For more details about it please take a look into Google.

no because define(‘WPLANG’, ‘it_IT’); is deprecated and wordpress detects alone the language but in this case not work

Yes, it's true but we thought that maybe this would help you. So if it's not a reason, did you change language under Settings > General > Site Language section? For more details about setting up languages please check https://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress_in_Your_Language
