Colours on Software Theme

I have recently purchased the Software theme and am having trouble removing the two areas of different colours; first is the hover on the top menu. Upon hovering there are muliple colours right at the top of the page, that I would like to change to a different colour.
Also right at the bottom of the page, there are multiple colours all across the bottom of the page.. This is right at the bottom of the footer. I am unable to adjust this as well.

1. Do you mean to remove think colorful lines that appears on menu items hovering?
2. For those line is responsible the following line which is located under Theme options > Custom CSS & JS > Custom CSS section:
