Loves symbol and the project description above the single portfolio post?

I'd like to get rid of the Loves symbol and the project description above the portfolio post. (including the categories)

I'd rather have it as a title above the description text. (lay out it with the muffin builder)

to remove love button please use below css:

.post-header .button-love a.mfn-love { display: none; }

but we have no idea which description you mean exactly as your image above does not work. To send us screenshot of what you mean, please use http://snag.gy/ or http://pasteboard.co/

This is what I mean. The whole title area gone, and instead create a title myself in the column next to the image
