Hover Color animation

Hi Muffin Group,
is there a specific reason why a "Hover Color" content element does not support animations? Is there a possibility that you could add this feature?
Because of the nice hover effect, I use Hover Color elements at one page instead of a "Column" element. The Column element supports animations but the Hover Color does not.

we are sorry but this item doesn't support animation. It's just not possible to add them to this item.
