Menu Background hover

I used the transparent header, but with some custom css the menu items change their background color while hovering. The item "Projekte" has subitems. If I hover on the subitem, "Projekte" changes his background back to transparent and the subitems are floating in the void. Is it possible that the menu item doesn't change its background while I'm hovering the subitems?

the problem is related with your custom css:
#menu a:hover {which should be replaced with the following to avoid this background hover problem:background-color: #019875 !important;
box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3) !important;
}
#menu li.hover > a {background-color: #019875 !important;
box-shadow: 0 0 10px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.3) !important;
}
