Can not see the background image

hi!

at first i have no idea about coding. so thats why i like to use Be Theme.
I want to create a site with a Parallax Scrolling effect like this http://www.bettybetty.de/#portfolio-2016
the effect should be for the first image on the side.

i created a new site and added a section then i uploaded the background image in 1920 x 1200 with a size of 1 kb and chose the position "paralax".
i gave that section a padding of 150 px and 100 px
and saved it actualized that but this the result http://gantzundrose.com/

Hey,

to set section's background please go to section options and set up background image and Parallax position for this background.

sorry doesnt work like that

i dont see any background image but i use an image plus a text content margin and padding

It is easy. All you need to do is go to SECTION, upload an image and select PARALLAX background style. More details about section you can find on http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/documentation/#section

hmm i did that all but i cant see it? what could be the problem? the background color? or should i select parallax in the betheme options?

You need to select parallax position of course.
