purchase codes (license keys) are not included for plugins which are bundled into theme. It’s because of Themeforest license & agreements. This applies to all themes of course. If you mean pages that came with the demo import, these pages can not be edited with Visual Composer because all pre-built pages were made with Muffin Builder tool which is much faster, lighter and easier in use. Please check the section under Wordpress default editor (there would be Page Options section) where Muffin Builder tool is.
