Hi,

I purchased the theme yesterday solely for be|design demo so can anyone please give me a step by step on how to do that (I already tried importing xml and followed the next steps however, it still doesn't show anything)

Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,

at this moment Be|Design works as homepage, not full demo so all you can import it as homepage without media stuff and settings because wordpress does not allow to import/export homepage with all those details. But each week we transform current homepages into full demos and we can promise that this one will be made as full demo soon. So at this moment, if you want to import this page as homepage, please take a look at http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/14/step-by-step-how-to-re-create-demo-page where we explained how to import homepage sites.

I followed the same exact steps and all I see is a blank white page, any other suggestions?

What blank screen exactly? Can you make us a screenshots of what you mean?

Hi,

Here's the page where I have imported the demo for design group:

As you can see, the complete page is blank. On the backend, while i do see items (portfolio) in the muffin builder, the same is not visible on frontend.

I have sent you login details via email.

Please let me know if you need anything else to check the issue.

Just to add, I imported all content for site, even then, the design page turns out blank. And I find no content in xml file as well.

Did you tried to import other demo page? For example one of full demos? Please do it and check if this works or also don't.

one more thing

I am trying to set the portfolio to masonry_flat from muffin builder.

But whenever i try to change anything in muffin options, the update button disappears!

Update button disappear when you did not saved options inside muffin options. If you click "Save changes" inside muffin builder then "Update" button will show.

How do i remove the space from top?

To remove space from the top, please go to Theme options > Layout > Header section and turn ON "Header | Minimalist" option.

Okay but when i do that, the portfolio layout changes. It's limited to 3 columns and not exactly similar to the design demo

I have removed the css, changed header styling etc and also added images to portfolio. Could you please have a look once and let me know why i have a different layout?

And why is the portfolio limited to 3 columns?

is there anyway, you can set it like this yourself? or when the full demo will come out.
I see that the demo has an option where you can select different pre-designed backgrounds yet I don't see that option under betheme options. am I missing anything?

We'll try to add this page as full demo next week.

How your design looks then? Because we tried to open previous link but it does not work. Backgrounds can be changed in Theme options > Layout > General section but of course you must upload your own background image.

What I mean is that the image alignment is different from the demo:

If you want to get portfolio images exactly like we did on our demo, you must select style for each portfolio item. While you create/edit portfolio item you should select "Item Size" what you can see at http://snag.gy/Xy6Po.jpg

I have a question regarding the demo. When you hover over an image in your demo it shows a magnifier icon as well as link chain icon. Could you please tell me how to get that work on mine?

Check in Theme options > Getting started > Portfolio section what option for link you have selected because we are pretty sure that you have wrong option selected.
