Betheme breaks visual composer controls

Hello,
I recently moved a WP site to our server that was made using Betheme bundled with visual composer.
Because the site was setup on another domain Visual Composer would not update.
VC website guide told me to deactivate, delete, re-purchase, re-install.
Now VC frontend controls are broken because of a modification by the betheme author. VC support adamantly confirmed this. (turn off the theme and the bug goes away).
How can I fix this so my editors can use frontend properly?

  • Hi,

which controls are broken exactly? Could you send us a screenshot of what you mean? As theme author, we do not modify plugin at all and we provide completely original plugin's version so we really wonder which part has been broken by BeTheme.
