Change Colour Of Hover Text Of Button

Guys,

I have a button on my homepage that has a transparent fill and white borderline and text. When I hover over it, the fill colour changes to white, which is what I want. But the text remains white and disappears because the button is now white. How do I fix this? I need the text to change colour to purple when the button is hovered over with the cursor. Hi,

to change button text color on hover, you need to use the following css:

.button-stroke a.button:hover strong, .button-stroke a.tp-button:hover strong { color: #000 !important; }

You have used strong tag for the button text and that's why it's the same color as background.

fantastic! Worked like a charm.

Now, on the same page, first section, on the text block, I have 5 check marks with some words. I would like to make them purple too. What would be the way to go?

Yes, you can change both but only text can be changed with custom css. If you look into your check list, you see that you set inline color style which is #5e5d5d and to use other color, replace existing inline style with new. But to change check mark color, please replace existing icon http://www.infinitemotors.com/wp-content/themes/betheme/images/icons/list_check.png with the new one.

Got it. I was able to change the text colour to the colour I need. But I did not understand the procedure on how to change the check marks. How do I replace them? Will I have to update the whole theme?

Also, the arrow of the "go to top" button on the footer is purple when the button is not hovered. How do I change it to white?

Because check mark is an image as we told you, all you need to do is replace existing image on FTP (we gave you complete path above) with the new image.
