create my own icons

I will create my own icons to personalize my website. First i was seeking the path for the icons on my ftp server and i can not find it. Can you please help me with it? Wich is the path to my Betheme-icons?
But there is another problem. I use Betheme child-theme. Is it right that the next Betheme update will delete my changes? What do you thing is the best way to do it? Thank you

Hello,

Updating your theme will not delete your setting but we always advise to make a backup.

Thank you, but in need to know the ftp-path to my Betheme-icons? I will add my own icons to the icon- library to use it with [icon type"my-own-icon"].
