good morning,

I wish I could create on my site a section where I choose the products they want to put in highlights on the homepage.

I have to use a plugin or wordpress already has this function?

I would like to make a slider with 8 items, then 4 + 4.

You can only use our builder items or visual composer. We do not offer any other way to do this.

Nothing, I already told you that you cannot pick random items.
You can only show products: All, Featured, On Sale, Best Selling
