Automatic blog posts on homepage

Hi, I am currently editing a premade theme called Space. When I looked at the demo, I thought the premade texts on the homepage were blog posts that automatically appeared on the homepage (since i found the Space theme in the blog section). I understand now that they're just bits of examples pasted for presentation, but is there any way on this theme OR on another theme to get blog updates to go directly to homepage ? I'm pretty sure I used to have a wp theme that did this.
More precisely : when i make a new blog post, i want it to end up being shown on the frontpage automatically, with a short intro + read more

Hi,

It is because yout have to set the blog page. Go to settings>reading and select the posts page. You can also use our shortocdes/item builders to display blog posts as well. More info about builder items and shortcodes here: http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/splash/
