Create 100% div width

I'd like some of my elements to be full width but I can't find an item that has 100% width to add my shortcode to.

The google map on this page is an example:

How can I edit the width of the column item I entered my short code into?

Hello,

Some of the element are full with, like the map or the sliders but some have fixed width and are not possible to change. You could change them with custom css but not all.
