Portfolio in tabs

Hello, is it possible to add a portfolio category in a
tab by any kind of short code?

I have an alphabetical category structure and would
like to show each portfolio category in a tab.

Or do you have any other idea how to solve it?

unfortunately we don`t have any portfolio with tabs. But you can leave your suggestion with explanation and examples in right topic http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/113/your-suggestions-for-future-updates and when all current updates will be finished, then we can consider about your suggestion.

I could probably solve it through parent and child pages, but how do I make them visible in the sidebar like you do it on this site: http://themes.muffingroup.com/betheme/features/12-skins-1-click-skin-generator

For that, we used "Muffin Menu" widget in Appearance > Widgets section. For this widget we choosed "Show page children (if there is no children, show siblings)".

i cannot see my portfolio tab on my dashboard WP... how can i fix that?!

You probably hide it in theme options>global>advanced
There are theme functions where you can hide the custom post types.
There is also the possibility that you are logged in an account that does not have full privilages.
