Starting with different blog category

Is there a way to start with a different category than "all" when you use the blog element on a page?

Or can you at least tell me how/where it loads in?

HI,
sorry but you cannot start with a different category. You could only remove the ALL item with custom css. You can use this plugin to change them:

When I remove the ALL category with css, it causes a problem as you can see here:

Please first update the theme to the newest version and disable all plugins. Lets us know if it helped.

Everything is updated and all plugins are disabled, but the problem still remains.

Your version of betheme is 16.3 and the newest version is 20.3

We suggest removing the theme completly via FTP and installing it again.

Make a backup as well.

I have done what you said and updated the theme but the problem still remains.

Please try to disable all third party plugin in your theme. If this will not help we will take other steps.
