BUG in Calculation of Excerpt Length with japanese Language

We have a blog leading in english language. Most of the article are translated to german und japanes Language.

By calculation the excert the english and german ariticles are display correct on the blog page. The excerpt of article in japanese Language are calculated wrong and nearly the hole article is displayed instead of the excerpt. The theme calculates only the word in latin letters.

Sorry but the japanasease is hard to calculate, even impossible. We cannot do anything about it.

It should be possible to count uft8 letter for non-latin languages. What are you doing with russion or chinese language. They are also not supported?

The lenght is calculated by how many spaces are in the text. This is why that is such a problem.
