I would like to add the beginning text of the posts (finished with [...] behind the title or the date, in the latest post widget.

unfortunately this is not possible at this moment and this can`t be done with few easy changes because for that must be rebuilt whole widget. Please leave your suggestion in right topic on forum http://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/113/your-suggestions-for-future-updates and when we`ll finish current updates, we`ll think about your suggestion.

Never mind. I'll explain to my customer it's not possible.
I will have a new post about portfolio page. Hoping I'll have more chance for this question.
