Categories Menu in Widget

How can I change the background colour and text colour for the Categories widget? Also, can I make the post count on the same line as the category? Thanks,

But as we see there is no "Categories" widget in sidebar on this page. You only have dropdown menu for archives and nothing else.

Ok, now we see. So to change those colors, please use below css:

.widget_categories ul { background: #000 !important; color: #FFF !important; }
.widget_categories ul a { color: #FFF !important; }

Great thank you, now how do I make the post count (the numbers in brackets) appear on the same line as the category?)

Also, I would like the links to be not white, how do I do this?

To make those numbers in the same line as category name, please use below css:

.widget_categories ul li a { display: inline-block; }

But to change links colors in widget, please use below css:

.widget_categories ul li a { color: #000; }

.widget_categories ul { background: #f9f9f9 !important; color: #444 !important; }

.widget_categories ul li a {

display: inline-block;

color: #444 !important;

}
