Decrease classic header height

Dear support-team, 
is there any possibility to reduce the height of the classic header? I want to decrease the header box with the target of getting a more elegant and sharper look. The standard classic header looks a bit oversized for the minimum of content thats in there. There´s to much empty space between the letters from the menu and the top respectively the bottom of the headerbox. I can´t tell you guys my url because it´s under construction... Hope you can show me a general path, thanks for your amazing support. You guys do a fantastic job, keep it up!:) Best regards from Germany
