Change Header Colour

Hello,

I want to modify the current colour of the header on my website (PhotoWorkshop.ca). It's currently white and the buttons turn blue when you hover over them.

How can I change the colour of the header?

did you try changing the colors in theme options>colors?

Yes, but that didn't change the colour.

Try using this css

.header-classic #Top_bar {
	background:blue !important;
}

If you want to remove the space between the header and slider please go to theme options>global>general and remove content padding.

Thank you. I couldn't figure out how to modify the content padding because there isn't a content padding section under Global (or menus in the same area)

Next, I want to remove the space below the header and I want to add a solid colour behind selected text areas. How would I go about doing that?

Sorry, this option is in theme options>global>advanced, my mistake.
