Best resolution for Header Images

I can tell that 1280 is a good width, but what hight is ideal for this section? I would like to use a group photo, but doing doing so results in heads being cut off or bars on the sides as dimensions are tested.

On our demo websites we use header images that are 1920px x 372px size.

Keep in mind that such image will appear as cut on screens wider than 1920px. For example - I use WQHD resolution screen and all Be demos look weird.

A simple workaround would be to add "cover" background position for header images as a switch or dynamic - when screen size exceeds the width of the image uploaded so that it always fits the screen width.
