Content sticks to left side - no padding issue

Hey Folks :D

I used this prebuilt website (http://themes.muffingroup.com/be/productions/our-studio/) and changed it a little so it fits my needs. As you can see the content is located somewhat in the middle of the page. Also the slider doesn't start at the top of the page. You can see a bit of the backround.
I uploaded a new image and since then my content is left aligned and sticking to the edge of my screen.
I reuploaded the original images but it stays the same way. When I add padding it of course affects my background aswell. So I would like to restore the original settings. Is this a bug or just my mistake?
