Shortcodes in link fields

Hi,

I have a lot of dynamic content on my site, and specially some dynamic links. I was thinking of retrieving these contents through shortcodes, and it's working fine for text fields, but not links.

If i use a shortcode in a link in Revolution Slider, it's ok :

But when i try to add a shortcode as a value for the link field on a button in Muffin Builder, it's not working (it just adds the shortcode string to the current URL).

How can i do that ?

Hi,

sorry but this is not possible. you cannot paste shortcodes into links.

Ok, too bad ...

Then i suggest that you add a filter to each shortcode output, so developers can at least modify their outputs, instead of overriding/duplicating the whole shortcode code, like i think i will have to do. What do you think of that ?
