I tried searching the archives for code to change the background color of the share box. Is it possible?

it is only possible with css, you can use this

.share_wrapper {
    background: #fff !important;
}

Thank you for the info. How about removing the border of the Share Box, or perhaps just changing the color?

We can only remove it with this css

.stButton .stBubble_count {
	border:none !important;
}
.stButton .stBubble {
	background:none !important;
}
