May I know what effect did you apply to this? This is not gray scale or black and white obviously

I really need this cause I'm trying to duplicate it and apply it to my client logos section.

This is my current image, I applied black and white but I'm trying to achieve the above effect.

What I meant is how did you achieve the result? I want my image to be like that.

If you mean the greyish square grid behind the logos, that's not an effect you achieve through css.

It's your browser/image viewer telling you that the background behind the logos is transparent.

It's very common to see in png files, as they're often used for graphics with transparent background

If we are taling only about the image that I linked then we did it using software like: photoshop.
