Add photo of author on blog

Hello,

is it possible tot add a photo of the author of a blog on the featured image, so instead of the user icon and 'Admin' in the screenshot-link below.

i already bought the 'fanciest author box' plugin on Envato, but this only adds info about the author below a post or page. I'd like to show it direct on the frontpage.

Hope you know what i mean and that you can help me with this.

Hi,
just edit your acount in wordpress and change the profile picture, it then should display your image instead of the gray user icon.

I added it (using gravatar). I see my picture in Wordpress CMS > My Profile.

But not on the post itself:

tried some other options but i don't see a profile pic appearing.

Before spending more time on this: you're sure that this is possible?

Oh that is what you mean, no sorry but you would have modify the theme files which we do not support unfortunately.
