Removing tables borders

hello!

I'm trying to use tables to create a dinner menu with menus: see example: http://nolimit.almering.nl/test/
I'm using TinyMCE plugin.

I can't rid myself of the borders around the tables for the life of me! Is the theme overriding the code?
If so, can you please provide a code to overide it so I can have transparent tables?
Or is there a better plugin than TinyMCE?

Hi Andy,
please remove your custom css and go to theme options>global>general, there select the simple style from classic. It will remove borders.

It does work but it also screws up the design of the website. In my case I can live with it since the change isn't huge....but itsn't there a code that can be used for the custom CSS?

You can use this css, but we suggest making a custom class for your table so we can target the css only for this one. Now all tables on your website will have no borders.

table * {border:none !important;}
