Offer Slider Thumb - text instead of featured image.

I really like the Offer Slider with the thumbnails like the one on the Developer demo page. For my purposes I don't need a feature image though. But I do need more space for text. So what I want is text content instead of a feature image. How is that possible?
I've tried several options, also the full-width option of my section in which the offer slider is currently located. The problem with that is, that my general page is full-width but my content boxed (responsive-mode is on, 1220px width). If I choose that option, the section is obviously displayed as the only non-boxed section.

sorry but there are no options to change this. You would have to modify the theme files and css in order to achieve this.
