Blog post menu completely different from rest of site

The menu in the individual blog posts does not show the revolution slider in the background of the menu. This has cause a problem where you can't see the menu on individual blogs posts.

How do I:

A get a solid colour behind the menu on individual blog posts.

or

get revolution slider behind the menu in the header of each blog post

Hello,
you can set the slider globally for all pages and posts in theme options>global>advaced.
Just paste the slider shortcode into the field "slider|shortcode"

How do I just force the slider for only the blog posts? We have already chosen sliders for the other pages.

Ok well how do I get a revolution slider in the header of the blog posts? Even just a simple colour would work.

The problem is that you can't see the navigation.
