Revolution Slider failing to install

Hello BeTheme Support,

I have tried many times today to install Revolution Slider via the BeTheme Required Plugin Installer without success. I have read several discussions on this forum from other people having similar problems. So I deactivated all plugins and tried again a couple more times to install Revolution Slider but it failed again each time.

MySQL Version 5.6.39

PHP Version 7.0.30

PHP Memory Limit 256 MB

PHP Time Limit 300

PHP Max Input Vars 5000

WP Max Upload Size 256 MB

cURL tick

DOMDocument tick

WordPress Environment

WP Version 4.9.6

WP Multisite X

WP Debug X

Language en_AU, text direction: LTR

Here is the last error message I received

Download failed. cURL error 56: Recv failure: Connection reset by peer

Do you have any suggestions about why this is failing and what to do to make the Revolution Slider plugin install?

Please let me know if you need any further information that will enable you to help me get Revolution Slider installed.

Please check if you have a cURL installed on your server.

Hello Pablo,

There is a green tick next to cURL in the Server Environment.

Does that indicate that cURL is installed on the server?

Please type to your hosting provider and ask him about it.

Locally can it be set to on, but hosting provider can disable it on his machine.

Hello Pablo,

PHP 7 was causing the Slider Revolution plugin installation to fail.

When PHP was changed to 5.6 the Slider Revolution installed perfectly.

So this problem is solved. :-)
