Plugin installation failure

Can you please assist me to understand what I have done incorrectly?

I am unable to install any plugins from within Wordpress...

The permissions on the WP Content and Plugins folder is 757.

    Hi,
    it looks like there is a problem with creating directories(folders) on your server. It could be related to certain permission options. You should contact your hosting provider and check if the plugins folder is available for read/write.

    Thank you. I have since discovered that the server assigned rogue permissions to two directories. ;-)
