Category page load speed

Hello - can you think of any reason why my category posts blog page would be slow to collect itself together? There seems to be some lag time before the masonry style setup puts itself together.

This is normal behavior of this script.
Javascript must load all of the images at the start, then depends on their size it chooses a place for them.
