WPBakery Page Builder plugin - how to update without purchasing plugin licence

We have several websites that use Betheme. These sites need to have the WPBakery Page Builder plugin updated. This plugin was included with the theme so we do not have a licence for the plugin by itself. Can you release an update of the theme that also updates the plugin? Otherwise it costs us a lot of money to pay for a new licence for WPBakery Page Builder plugin for every Betheme site we manage. The plugin is not listed in the Theme-->Install Plugins area in the WP dashboard, by the way. Also, we have installed a child theme on all sites
