Blog is missing from site - not showing

I have several installations with betheme and now 2 sites have the blog missing from home page and from news page
here should you be seeing many blog posts but none is visible.

the blog posts are created with visual composer, i have updated to the latest version, but the error still persists.
I have disabled all the plugins but still the blog isn't showing up.
when I make a page with the muffin builder the blog is showing, does anyone now what causes this error?

    Hi,
    You have a lot of Custom CSS and whole of your VC content has a doubled class parameter.
    It looks like it's plugins fault.
    Also, it's not possible to create a single post with Visual Composer. The plugin is not turning on.

    A Blog page can be created with VC, but you have to insert the "Blog" item through the page builder(VC).
