Old site has version 9.0 - best way to update theme?
Hi, I inherited a website from a newer client of mine, but they have and old version of the theme.
I've purchased the latest version but wondered the best way to update the theme, do I upload the new one to the site or is there a place to add my purchase code to update it within the site admin?

Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
