built on original theme, not child theme

Hey guys,
did a stupid mistake. I built my website on your Betheme (not on Betheme child theme)

Is that bad? What is your suggestion?

    Hi,
    If you didn't make any theme modifications (theme code customizing), then it's okay.
    If you did, then all of your changes will be overwritten by the default theme code.
    Child Theme should be used only when you modify theme files.
