Updating from version 17
I need to update a site that currently appears to be running on version 17 to the newest version. I also notice that it does not use a child theme, just the btheme itself. Do I have to take certain steps to update without breaking the site? The site works fine, but it needs the updates so that the Woocommerce files are also up to date with the latest Woocommerce installation.

Theme updates will not delete your content unless you have changed the files directly in which case we suggest using a child theme.
We also recommend creating a backup file.
Please remove the theme completely from your theme folder and install a fresh copy. Do not overwrite files.
