Create New Page To Host Blog Posts

Hi,

I want to create a page to host the blog posts more or less like this example

So first, I want to know if I create a "regular page" how do I attach the posts to it?

Secondly, the posts would be divided by month, and then by day. How could I do it?

Hey,

this is a brief instruction. You should also see some youtube videos for clarificaion. Just search for: how to create a blog page in wordpress.

1. Go to pages and create a home page and then a blog page. Just name them this way.

2. Go to settings>reading and select the static page option, see: http://prntscr.com/mlwoeo

Now, if you go to the blog page, all of the posts you created will display there.

Manage the options for the blog page in theme options>blog,portfolio&shop>blog.

You cannot divide them this way in wordpress without using custom code or plugins.

You could only set categories and display them in category pages.
