Can a read more button be added on the blog page beneath the excerpt?

Hi,

The "Read More" button is always below the excerpt field.

If not, please disable all of the plugins, clear the cache and check if the issue still exists.

Of course, you can.
Please go to the Theme Options > Global > General and change the "Image Frame" style to the "Disable hover effect."

About that "Read more" button, I suppose that you want to display it on the main blog page, unfortunately, with this layout of blog page, it's not possible.
