Align text vertically beside image

edited July 2019 in Files & images
Hi,

ich created a site with a full-with image without margins on the left half of the screen, on the right half appears a text. I want the text to be centered to the image with all devices but could not find a function that works.

  • Hello,
you would need to place them in two 1/2 wraps and use the section style "equal height of wraps". Here is a tutorial:

The equal height of wraps is used to position elements on: top, middle or bottom in wraps. In order to achieve this you need to:
    1. Edit your page, and go to the muffin builder. Edit a section and under the advanced>style select 'equal height of wraps'. See screens:

    2. Now edit each wrap in that section and set the desired vertical align(top, middle or bottom). See screens:

  • Thank you for this very detailed guideline. If I choose the style "equal heigh of wraps" the picture appears unfortunately not in full with and additionally margins are added. I want the picture to be full-with withpout margins and responsive to varying screen sizes while the text is vertivally centered on the right side. Is there a way to combine both issues?

    Thanks and regards

  • But you do not have to deselect the previously chosen options. Just select all of the styles.
Remove margins, equal height of wraps and full width.
Then you will have the same result as before, but with the possibility to center the content verticaly.
    thanks
  • Okay that sounds great! can you pls show me how i can choose multiple options? so far, this doesnt work for me unfortunately.
    Many thanks and best regards

  • Just remove paddings and margin which you applied in the column/wraps/sections in their settings.
Then, remember to create two wraps, one with image (as wrap background with padding or divider inside) and second with text, turn on the "equal height of wraps" and select the desired vertical settings.

    I've created it like this:

    Thanks
  • That works perfect! Thank you very much for your help :-)
