I was wondering how do I change the color of the text and the background color of the "Categories" widget in the sidebar?

Hello,

there is no option in theme option to change the color for just the sidebar. The colors are taken from the main content colors.

Hello,

The text of the categories is in white but I can't find the option to change it. Do you know which setting can adjust the text color of the "categories" in the sidebar?

It can be changed with the Custom CSS.

Please paste that code below into the Theme Options > Custom CSS & JS > CSS

.sidebar .cat-item, .sidebar .cat-item a{
	color:black !important;
}
