Categories displaying all of first post, not excerpt

Hi,

I have a problem with the Categories in my blog section: http://178.62.214.123/blog/

When clicking on a Category from the filter list or the sidebar dropdown list, the Category page is displayed but the first post in that category is displayed in FULL, in addition to being correctly displayed as an excerpt, as shown here: http://178.62.214.123/category/mean-stack-development/

I'd also like to modify the header and font of the Category page - where can I adjust them?

Hi,

OK, I fixed that, but now when I select a category it displays the category posts under the existing list of pages, below the Pagination numbering...need it on a separate page of course :-)

I have this problem too. I have added 2 Categories to my main menu. But when you click on the specific Category, it brings up a filter page, but the page's first item is the full post followed by the listing of all of the abbreviated items for that category including the one listed again. How do I remove the top full post listing?

Do I have to setup a Posts page? And how does it filter by a specific category.

@jheier Yes, you must set posts page definitely because without this option, your pages won't work properly.
