Moving website from Subdomain to Main domain

Hi

I am using the Video 3 layout of Betheme.

Am using the theme on the subdomain since the main domain is already live and is a HTML site.

Once the work is fully complete then i will shift the theme to the Main domain.

So i have a question in mind that when i shift the website from Subdomain to Main domain will i have to de-register the theme first and then upload it to the Main domain or can i directly take backup of the site and put it on the Main domain?
