Action Bar Email - Add Subject

I'm using the Action Bar email field to add an email link, but would like if it auto-populated the Subject field when visitors click. I know that when using the mailto: function, you can add ?subject=Website%20Inquiry to do this. But how can it be done from within Muffin Builder Options?

Thanks for your input. I've tried various things without success.

I tested by entering: <a href="mailto:[email protected]">Link text</a> which displays the following result:

Link text">Link text

...where the first Link text links to: mailto:<a href=

...and the second Link text works correctly.

How can 'Link text"> be eliminated from what displays?

What do you mean by "Link Text be elimited from what displays" ?

I'm not sure what you want to achieve, remove the text inside the <a> tag?

It works in the Muffiin Builder, but not in the Theme Options for the Action Bar. When I add the same code to the action bar email field, I get what I mentioned in previous post:

By the default this tag is provided in the "email" field, so just insert the e-mail in that field and it will work fine.

But, you will not be able to insert two mails there, because this field is not desired for this kind of functionality.

Pablo, thanks for your input. This brings us back to my original request, which was how to properly add

?subject=Website%20Inquiry to autopopulate the Subject line. How can this be done with the email field?

It will not be possible, you would have to create a contact form to create something similar like that.

Action Bar email field is not desired for this kind of functionality.

You would have to edit the theme files to achieve it, sadly - it's not supported by us.
