Child Theme

Hi everyone,

I'm working on localhost and I created my website with BeTheme, it's almost ready to go online! I haven't changed css code, but I changed some html code (for example in the footer). I forgot to installed and activated Betheme child theme (actually, I didn't know what child theme was used for). Now I saw that there is an available update, but I am afraid to lose all the work. Can I install and activated the child theme now or is it too late?

Hello Nicola,

If you want not to lose changes that you made in your theme, you have to use the Child Theme, because if you will update the parent theme you will get official, not changed files which will overwrite the old one.
