Individual Blog Post Pages

Hi there -

I am using the Yoga Pre-built theme and the issue is the individual Blog post (pages) when viewing in its own page.

There is the main menu that is there but not live - please see below - as well as the heading (title) appears twice.

Second issue is that the footer appears in the individual blog post pages (in white) the home page background is darker -

Can I get rid of it (footer) or change background colour?

1) You can remove the page title from subheader in the Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Subheader

2) Is that google element coming from some kind of third party plugins? We do not have any item which could make it look similar.

Also, I would have to take a look at it, because it should not change whole background color of the footer.

Yes the google is just a display plugin for google I believe the text is in white for some reason on a white background no idea where to change it for the individual blogs

Also the menu is still there - I only want home on the menus - but for individual posts I cant see the option to change menu?

Can you disable all of the plugins and check, if the issue still exists?

As I see, you have several of them and they inject a lot of CSS code.

Also, clear the cache, after disabling the plugins.

It would be great if you would allow to give me a look when all of the plugins are disabled

To make the menu working correctly, you have to create another menu, which will link to root (/) with anchor link (#someanchor).

And then, attach it on all main single posts, right in the Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog

About the footer, we can fix it easily with that CSS code:

Your actual menu which is linked for all of the pages is an anchor menu for main page, which means it will scroll over the main page - it will not work on other pages than main page, because all elements in that menu is connected with section on your homepage.

To get rid of it, you have to make another menu working in other way, which will link to root ( / ) with anchor link ( /#aboutus ), not like right now, with only anchor link ( #someanchor ).

And then, to display it on all of the blog related pages, you have to select that menu in the Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog

Ok sooo lost still I created a menu and called it /menu but had no pages

I want the blog page to link back to the main page only so just one menu header saying home?

Please take a look at the individual blog page? I tried to follow your instruction to the best of my ability...

You can do it as you wish, but as I see you want to have the "Home" link only.

So, it's even easier then, because you do not have to link the anchor links.

Create new menu:

And insert the menu item for that menu:

Ok I did all that but now the book appointment link is on the top - andnot sure if the home button works as teh book appointment button covers it?

Did you set some layout for the single posts?

Be sure that your "Layout ID" is empty, without any blank spaces.

Theme Options > Blog, Portfolio & Shop > Blog

Sadly, it is not possible ;(

It's hardcoded like that in the themecode and we cannot do a lot about it.

You would have to edit the theme files to get it work, but unfortunately, we do not help with this kind of modifications.

Ok no worries I saw teh link and thought the images in the blog posts could be linked
