Sound on video?

Hi again

thanks for all your recent help...

I have another query. we've updated the main image on the home page to be a video - adding the video into the background image field of the Header section in theTheme options, and then saving it using Revolution Slider.

The video plays fine, but there's no sound (there should be).

Have I done this right? Can you help?

Hi,

You can only autoplay videos without sound.

This is blocked by the browser and we cannot help you with this issue.

Is there any way to add user controls so they can turn the sound on if they want to?

Hello,
You have to add a button with “Action type” set to “Unmute media” with a target on background video or the layer which is set to display the youtube video. See this screenshot to understand:
