Plugin install error

I cant seem to install the core plugins (slider revolution & WP Bakery) without getting error as follows

Download failed. cURL error 56: OpenSSL SSL_read: SSL_ERROR_SYSCALL, errno 104

I have contacted our hosting provider and we cant seem to find fault - they suggested manual installation of the plugins - where is best place to find the files to do this

or any other options?

Hello,

I can see that you have SSL installed. Can you tell me how did you install it? By some plugin, or in hosting settings?

You can try to turn off all of the plugins, and check if this error appears without them.

Nailed it with the disable of everything else, still took a few attempts but got them installed :)

If anybody else encounters this error, the above steps actually resolve this issue. Deactivate other plugins, then install, activate other plugins again.
