Multisite Error installing premium plugins
Hi. This issue has come up before on the forum but no solutions that have helped me.
I get the following error when trying to install the plugins that came with the theme.
If I query the full url (including the bit chopped off) nothing is returned/downloaded. 200 status is returned.
I am running a multi-site install of wordpress. The licence checker thing (http://api.muffingroup.com/licenses/) has the 'primary' domain of the multisite. Not the domain that I've activated the Be theme on. I continue to deregister and register but it always uses the primary domain. This is regardless that the 'active domain' is in the url when I register.
Maybe this is why the api doesn't return a file to download??
I've done all this without any other plugins activated.
Advice please.
Thank you

Hello,
Can you tell me how did you create your multisite?
You used some plugin to create it?
Thanks
Hi.
No plugin was used. Instead some defined variables in the wp-config file.
This sort of thing: https://www.wpbeginner.com/glossary/multisite/
Please follow this documentation to create proper multisite instance:
After that, you should be able to attach the license key on the main domain only, all other multisite instances should inherit the license key.
Thanks
Thanks for the reply. I can confirm my network is configured as per these instructions. It's been running for 5+ years and I've just doubled checked it's inline with everything on that page.
Is it possible to attach the license key to the main domain without activating the Be theme on that domain? The main domain has an active site running off it and I can't simply activate the Be theme on it.
The BeTheme has to be activated on the domain, without it you won't be able to download/update plugins and theme or download pre-built websites.
The license must be activated on the parent domain, because all child themes are inheriting the license code, so there is no other way.
thanks
That's disappointing.
Well, thanks for the clarificcation.
I'll find a workaround
